Pudong launches 5th YRD Integrated Circuit Skills Invitational Competition

The fifth Pudong New Area Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Integrated Circuit Skills Invitational Competition was officially launched at the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Design Industrial Park on Aug 16.

To support the development of the integrated circuit industry, the competition will leverage Pudong’s integrated circuit industry cluster to help nurture and attract more outstanding talents and effectively promote the construction of an innovative and highly skilled talent team as well as the development of the integrated circuit industry in the YRD region, according to the organizers.

At the launch ceremony, Zhang Jingyang, chairman and CEO of MooreElite, announced the competition topics and rules.

Zhang said the competition aims to enhance the social influence of the integrated circuit industry and improve the innovation potential of chip design in the automotive application field.

The integrated circuit knowledge competition aims to popularize basic knowledge about the industry and enhance its visibility and social influence so as to attract more outstanding talents to join the industry.

The automotive chip design competition aims to drive research, development, and innovation of automotive chip design, and provide support for the development of the automotive chip industry by stimulating the innovative potential of automotive chip design talents.

The competition features a new "three-in-one" competition mode that allows participants to demonstrate their skills and innovation abilities through online knowledge quizzes and offline practical skills competitions.
