The World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2022 (WAIC2022) opened on Sept 1, and will last until Sept 3. The Pudong venue is located at the Zhangjiang Science Hall this year. Activities unveiling new AI and metaverse products are highly anticipated during the next three days.

There are around 30 forums scheduled to highlight what’s happening in the industry. Exhibitions with a metaverse theme are expected to open one after another at the Pudong venue. The goal of exhibitors is to create a platform for the industry to exchange ideas and resources while also energizing the continued growth of the metaverse.

Zhangjiang Metaverse Digital Chain Industrial Base, which is also known as the Zhangjiang Digital Chain, was incorporated into the third group of Shanghai's municipal-level industrial parks in June as the starting location of the city's metaverse.

One of the key conduits for Shanghai to construct the new metaverse route is the Zhangjiang Digital Chain. By combining these industries, the Zhangjiang Digital Chain has made the entire city a troop to scale up the metaverse business in Pudong, and even in Shanghai. It connects applications in various fields in Shanghai.

Together with Pudong Software Park, Yuqiao Science Innovation Center has created an industry park with a metaverse as a merger of the city and the industry.

Companies that are permitted to collaborate with one another and benefit from the entity industry's metaverse-driven development now have new opportunities thanks to the digital economy's empowerment of the real economy.
