The second Competition of Best Workplace to Work and the second Competition of Most Promising Returnee Entrepreneurial Team recently kicked off in Shanghai, and the results will be released in December at the 2022 Pudong International Talent Hub Forum.

The competitions were arranged by the organizing committee of the 2022 Pudong International Talent Hub Forum, which is jointly sponsored by the Pudong New District Talent Work Leading Team Office, the Human Resource and Social Security Bureau of Pudong New District, the China Europe International Business School, the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute and Zhangjiang Group, and undertaken by the Pudong New District Personnel Market and Korn Ferry, and supported by HRflag.

The Second Competition of Best Workplace to Work

In order to assist organizations in creating pluralistic, equal and comprehensive environments and brands, and to enhance the open and innovative services for talented personnel, the competition was created to choose the best workplace based on the core focus of talent, significant changes in the working world, and prospective organizations.

Avnet, BASF SE, China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited, and Covestro were among the 20 outstanding domestic and international companies chosen for the First Competition of Best Workplace to Work last year. This year's competition will entice more businesses to register. It will investigate workplaces with new thinking, enhance workplace development plans, and make it easier to create an effective and pleasant workplace.

The Second Competition of Most Promising Returnee Entrepreneurial Team

The competition was designed to attract outstanding talents to Putong New District. It will focus on the district’s core industries of integrated circuits, biological medicine, and artificial intelligence. Based on the district’s advantages of having a comprehensive development environment and well-known brands, the competition will offer an international stage with diverse perspectives and cutting-edge ideas for innovation and entrepreneurial talents and teams from around the world to achieve ground-breaking feats.

In 2021, five projects received the titles of "Returnee Entrepreneurial Star" and "Returnee Entrepreneurial Dream”, and 20 outstanding teams received the honor of "Most Promising Returnee Entrepreneurial Team”, along with an entrepreneurship subsidy of up to 300,000 yuan ($43,740).
