This year, the number of participating enterprises and positions provided for training have been greatly improved in terms of both quality and quantity.

Students will have the opportunity to work in 24 units, a record number, within widely varied industries, including Zhangjiang High-tech park, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, China Financial Futures Exchange, the test center of the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Literature Group.

The internship positions offered this year are richer and more diverse, and more accurately matched with the students' professional goals, accommodating development engineers, hardware circuit test engineers, organic process chemistry, economic finance, fund management, new media operation, procurement, overseas content analysis, youth talent services and more.

The number of schools and participants has also increased. Besides Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University and Shanghai University of Science and Technology, outstanding students from Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai New York University also attended the camp. The number of students increased from 39 last year to 71.

As the training camp cooperated with Dali University in Yunnan Province last year, seven outstanding students from the university joined the training camp this year, which promoted exchange between the students in Shanghai and Yunnan.

The experience activities designed for the camp are more abundant. With the theme of “creative, innovative and entrepreneurial”, the camp allows the students to break the limits of thinking, broaden their horizons, and gradually improve their ability to turn ideas into reality.

In addition to introducing professional innovation and entrepreneurship service teams for training, thie camp also prepared a visit to Zhangjiang Entrepreneur Workshop, Zhangjiang Incubator and Lingang Administrative Center to enhance students’ understanding of Pudong from different perspectives and allow them to fully experience its entrepreneurial atmosphere and innovative passion.

Though joint efforts, the training camp has produced good results. The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Pudong New Area has issued a series of preferential policies with a focus on guidance and incubation to support entrepreneurial talents and enterprises in the region.

In order to provide high-quality and potential professionals for the development of Pudong, the training camp insisted in paying attention to innovative and entrepreneurial talents in advance.

In terms of promoting entrepreneurship, the projects of six students have been launched in Pudong and have received entrepreneurship funding. In terms of realizing employment, 10 students have worked in enterprises in Pudong.
